Heartland Security, a branch of American Security, has an immediate opening for devoted loss prevention investigators! Join an essential company to serve and protect the buildings and facilities in your community. You'll be responsible for protecting client's assets from internal and external theft.When you join our team, you'll be:- Observing and monitoring customers and employees' behavior for potential theft situations
- Detaining observed shoplifters when elements of intent are met
- Working with law enforcement as needed in the apprehension and arrest of suspects
- Conducting routine inspections of the facility to maintain physical security and protection of assets
- Conducting internal investigations using available data and resources
- Demonstrating a high level of integrity and confidentiality with sensitive information
- Various shifts and schedules are available.
- Some weekends may be required, but we offer flexibility!
- You must be 18 years old
- For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English proficiently
- A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
- Excellent observation skills and awareness of surroundings
- Should be comfortable with the use of technology, CCTV, and computers
- Past security and loss prevention experience is preferred but not required.
