Description Video Production Project ManagerOur client is looking for a seasoned professional in the realm of video production to join their growing team. This hybrid role, requiring three days on-site per week, offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality and highly visible video content for a national brand. This position entails an average work commitment of around 40 hours per week.Role Summary:As a Video Production Project Manager, the selected candidate will be integral to the expanding in-house video team. The role involves managing video projects throughout all phases - from the creative process and production to the post-production stage. Responsible for managing schedules, tracking progress, and securing resources, the role requires a robust background in video project management and a comprehensive understanding of video creative and production processes.Ideal Candidate:Our client prefers someone with a polished communication style, comfortable working with various personalities, and at different leadership levels. The candidate should also be capable of swiftly organizing information accurately, anticipating, and responding to the needs of clients or partners in a timely manner.The successful candidate would not only have a passion for the film, television, and video industry, but also be open to growth opportunities within a vibrant and evolving company. In rare instances, a willingness to travel for work would be necessary.Responsibilities: Managing the influx of video project requests. Monitoring and reporting on project status from initiation to completion. Overseeing and managing video pre-production planning. Arranging locations for photo shoots by coordinating contracts and rates with vendors. Building and maintaining a network of creative partners in the field of video production Ensuring delivered products are high-quality, on-brand, and produced within budget. Proactively solving unanticipated production and project workflow challenges. Responding to needs and requests from clients/partners.Requirements: Minimum of 4 years' experience in project management or as a producer in an internal creative team or at a production company. Strong understanding of video production processes, project management skills, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and deliver quick turnarounds.
