Mindak Commercial Construction is a wood-framing subcontractor that specializes in the framing of commercial buildings. We are currently hiring for a full-time Wall Panel Assembler.
Job Summary:
The Wall Panel Assembler is responsible of assembling building material components. This
dedicated team member frames walls together on assembly tables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans and implements the assembly process by reading and understanding drawings or blueprints and gathers necessary materials and tools to complete order.
Ensures that assembled items meet specific quality specifications.
Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or coworkers. Must attend periodic mandatory safety meetings.
Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of construction-related equipment and sound demonstrated use preferred.
Demonstrated ability to make good independent judgment and decisions.
Good teamwork and collaboration effort.
Strong problem solving, multitasking and organizational skills.
Demonstrates awareness of all health and safety protocols.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal/written communication skills (methods to include phone, email, & text messaging).
Fork-lift certified or willingness to get certified.
Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to fifty pounds on a frequent basis and up to one-hundred pounds on an occasional basis; prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching is required on a daily basis. A full range of
physical motion is required in order to operate manual and electrically-powered tools and construction-related equipment.
Environment:
Work is performed indoors in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards.
