Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing safety protocols, and coordinating logistics to optimize workflow.

IMPORTANT: Must have a CAN-DO attitude and demeanor, have genuine interest in learning and mastering the products, goal to have zero mistakes upon shipping and receiving.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations & Supervision

- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.

- Assign tasks and monitor the performance of warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency.

- Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.

- Conduct routine inspections of warehouse equipment and infrastructure to maintain functionality.

2. Inventory Management

- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits.

- Coordinate with inventory control teams to ensure proper stock organization and minimize discrepancies.

- Report inventory shortages, damages, and loss prevention measures.

3. Staff Management & Training

- Train, mentor, and support warehouse staff in operational procedures and safety protocols.

- Lead team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and safety guidelines.

- Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and assist in performance evaluations.

4. Logistics & Coordination

- Work closely with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and shipment of goods.

- Oversee loading and unloading processes to prevent damage and ensure efficiency.

- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, sales, customer service) for seamless operations.

5. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure all warehouse activities comply with OSHA and company safety regulations.

- Conduct regular safety checks and enforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

- Address and resolve any workplace hazards, reporting incidents as necessary.

6. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain detailed records of inventory movement, shipments, and warehouse activities.

- Generate reports on warehouse efficiency, staffing needs, and inventory status.

- Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for warehouse operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.

Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Proficiency in warehouse management software, Microsoft Office, or inventory control systems.

- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners).

- Effective communication and organizational skills.

Work Conditions:

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor.

Work Environment: Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and heavy equipment.

Schedule: May require overtime, weekends, or shift work, depending on operational needs.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary based on experience - $60k - $70k
