ONSITE/OFFSITE POSSIBLE @ The preferred candidate will work with the MDE Infrastructure team to provision, support, andmonitor resources in the MDE Azure public cloud. Primary work will be in support of, but notlimited to, the MSIS 2.0 project.JOB DESCRIPTION This position requires a qualified Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to assist and/or lead inthe following tasks: Provision compute, database, network, and storage resources in the publiccloud presence of MDE Implement new and enhance existing security protocols in the public cloudspace for MDE. This would include certificates, encryption of data at-rest andin-transit. Strength in Azure DevOps is a must. Build pipelines, YAML, GitHub, automatedtesting. Assist MDE in defining roles for current staff in the softwaredeployment lifecycle. Integrate any new developments with Azure Active Directory for identitymanagement. Implement resource scaling, both vertical and horizontal for key computeresources. Possess exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Address any security and privacy audit findings Coordinate security/privacy efforts with the agency’s Director of Infrastructure.
