Pay and benefits for employees represented by a union are outlined in their collective bargaining agreement.Position Purpose: Technicians I and II are responsible for performing various general labor activities that include the operation of large machinery that provide assistance to the jobsite.Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Operates a vehicle or other special equipment such as forklift, backhoe, amphibious vehicle, or vactor as part of the general labor duties.Performs maintenance on the property and in field as required via the use of a maintenance request for or verbal request.Keeps a log of all maintenance acuities, date of work completed, and as much detail as possible as to what work was performed.Make scheduled inspections of the grounds.Performs lawn and gardening maintenance and repair.Performs various tasks (i.e., shoveling, transfers manhole covers, handle eqt.) to assist Crew Leader.Assist with identifying safety improvements related to the facilities, equipment, or procedures.Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions.      Performs other duties as required.Performs regular checks of equipment conditions, noting deficiencies and following maintenance procedures. Notifies supervisor of needed maintenance.Communicate effectively via written and oral methods with co-workers, supervisor, managers, and others when necessary.Work Environment:Must be able to work in all weather conditions.Must be able to work in confined spaces.
