Construction Materials Technician

IMMEDIATE HIRINGAerotek is currently hiring for a Construction Monitor to help with new and upcoming commercial/industrial projects. In this position the field inspector will be involved with field observation, inspecting and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete and asphalt placement. Daily communication is required with site contractors, other technicians and project managers.The candidate should have the ability to perform observations, inspections of construction projects and to document findings. Following inspections, the individual will be expected to turn in daily, weekly and monthly reports to verify the data collected in the field. This is a long-term opportunity that will provide hands on training and opportunity for advancement.DUTIES:

Inspecting construction projects to ensure contractor compliance with specifications, plans, and/or proposals.

Perform required collection of soil, concrete, masonry and asphalt construction materials.

Notify the Contractor and others of non-conforming and conforming work.

Prepares and maintains reports

Experience Level:

Entry Level

Must have valid drivers license

Must have own reliable transportation

Open to entry level candidates with outdoor labor or lawn and garden experience
