Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Internal Auditor to join our team in Mississippi. This role involves auditing, internal control, and internal audit in the telecom industry. Responsibilities: Conducting regular audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and procedures. Identifying areas of risk and ensuring they are addressed in audit reviews and reports. Evaluating the accuracy of financial information and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Collaborating with various departments to improve internal controls and minimize risk. Developing recommendations for improving internal controls, operating efficiency, and the adequacy of records and recordkeeping. Preparing audit findings and presenting to management. Monitoring implementation of action plans to ensure risk mitigation efforts are successful. Participating in special assignments as deemed necessary by management. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes to regulations and laws impacting the telecom industry. Supporting the development and implementation of the annual audit plan.Requirements Proven experience in the field of internal auditing Familiarity with internal control procedures and their implementation Expertise in auditing practices and principles Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Detail-oriented approach to work Capable of working independently and in a team Proficiency in using audit software and other relevant computer applications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or similar will be a plus Ability to adhere to and uphold ethical standards Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
