Network Technician

Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and test all network switching and routing devices on both classified and unclassified networks.  Network environment is a mixture of both Cisco and Juniper devices and area of responsibility is from the end user up to the installation’s network boundary, at Layers 1, 2, and 3.Respond to all network communication closets and providing on-site customer support.Assist with VoIP support, maintain accountability of equipment, and respond to all RFIs, taskers, and suspenses.Utilize ticketing systems such as ServiceNow for all requests and incidents.Assist with server and network actions as needed.
