If you have 7+ years of warehouse operations leadership experience in high volume multi-shift operations and have demonstrated experience in driving process improvement & optimization, we want to talk to you!The Outbound Operations Manager has overall responsibility for all shipping activities within in the 620k sq ft. facility. The DC in Southaven serves as our main storage location with more than 15,000+ SKU’s coming from our own factories in the US, Mexico and overseas and from third parties. From there external customers (Distributor, OEM, Retail, End-Customer) and internal partners in the US, Canada and Mexico receive 1500+ shipments daily via LTL, Parcel and full truck loads. Our warehouses runs on a Siemens internal SAP WM system.As such the incumbent will be accountable for meeting performance metrics as agreed upon with key business and functional stakeholders both globally and US as well as maintaining effective relationship. The operations manager will be responsible managing and leading a team of 150+ salary and hourly employeesResponsibilities

Quality: Drive continuous improvement of processes and systems to achieve zero defects.

Delivery: Ensure customer satisfaction by reducing lead times and providing high levels of on-time delivery.

Conduct team resource planning, staffing, training, communication and performance management.

Manage daily outbound operations to meet performance, quality and cost targets for a 3 shift x 7 days in a 620k sqft warehouse layout.

Responsible for warehouse related KPI’s such as Delivery Reliability, Quality, Delivery cycle time, etc…

Support general manager in developing cost savings initiatives that drive productivity improvements.

Drives ownership culture among workforce

Partner and collaborate with peers within the facility

Coach, develop and mentor direct leadership team.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (BA, IE, or Supply Chain Management preferred)

Strong Leadership Skills driving operational performance, continuous improvement and change management across the entire warehouse operation

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a high-volume distribution center or large retail operation.

Experience must include direct warehouse operations experience and progressive levels of management Demonstrated effectiveness in maintaining productive relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external

Must be able to define and implement strategies to develop operations and must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Demonstrated experience coaching and motivating team to achieve successful outcomes

Ability to evaluate data, draw sound conclusions and respond accordingly

Lean Six Sigma experience or certification

Computer skills required, to include Microsoft office experience and warehouse management systems experience

Must possess strong written and oral communications skills and strong presentation skills

Process and IT knowledge for implementing warehouse management system (i.e. SAP EWM)

Strong Excel skill level

The pay range for this position is $72,400 - $124,100 and the annual incentive target is 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
