DescriptionThe Senior Project Manager manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Project Manager designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing the project; monitors progress and performance against the project plan; takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources to complete the project. Prepares designs and work specifications; develops project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. Communicates with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project. Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project. Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and milestones. This is a remote role, however, if you live within 50 miles of the Louisville Waterside Humana office (101 E. Main Street, Louisville, KY 40202) you may occasionally be required to work in-office for in-person collaboration once CDC restrictions are lifted.Roles and Responsibilities:Responsible for communication of relevant legislation/regulatory updates impacting EDI transactions

Manage appropriate vendor relationships and participate in industry events and meetings

Ensure EDI transactions are compliant with CAQH CORE Operating Rules and HIPAA transaction standards

Assist PPS leadership in the management of the Provider Connectivity budget and prioritization of projects, and maintains alignment with CPO Project Manager

Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing projects

Monitor progress and performance against the project plans and take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays

Develop project schedules, budgets and forecasts as well as select materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors

Collaborate with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project

Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project

Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones

Potential to oversee/lead a team of contractors and prioritize testing projects accordingly

Required Qualifications3-5 years of relevant healthcare industry experience (i.e. EDI, provider relations, etc.)

Previous experience with project management/agile methodologies, process improvement or process design and implementation

Strong written and verbal communicator - concise, clear, and well thought out with excellent presentation skills

Strong consultative and relationship building skills

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Able to excel in a fast paced, constantly changing environment with tight timelines

Core business hours align to Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Work at Home/Remote RequirementsMust ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings

Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 25x10 (25mbps download x 10mbps upload) for optimal performance of is required
