Execute all key responsibilities under for Quality Assurance and provide expertise to the QA team. Define quality processes for integrated development team. Define overall quality process for assigned applications/products. Work as part of a development and QA team to deliver reliable, scalable software components. Collaborate with QAs to define, design, develop, document, and maintain the QA tools and test automation frameworks. Use expertise to act as a technical leader in driving the architecture evolution of our software/data test automation framework and related capabilities. Own and deliver innovative solutions for large scale automated testing strategies, quality assurance, and data analysis. Define test strategies, analyze results and validate functionality. Work with development and testing teams to gather and extract test requirements and test cases, and to ensure adoption and expand the reach of the delivered tools. Provide work breakdown and estimates for tasks on agreed scope and development milestones in order to meet overall project timelines. Fix framework bugs and improve test architecture, including adding required unit tests. Provide framework and test case documentation and training.

Requirements: Requires Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Applied Computer Science, or related. Progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience (3 years with Master’s, 5 years with Bachelor’s) is required which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Simultaneously maintaining existing applications and designing and delivering new applications; Modifying existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware and improve performance; Developing strategic test plans, test cases, test scripts and generated test reports for manual and automated tests; Leading the efforts of other developers by assigning and reviewing development work; Performing regression and system-level testing to verify software quality and function before release using JMeter and JUnit; Performing web services testing scenarios using SoapUI; Designing interface diagrams and flowcharts using MQ and Web Services; Designing report layouts and generating XML layouts for secure data exchange; and Development/testing languages, tools, and technologies (Java, JEE, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Servlets, Eclipse, HTML, JSP, Oracle, SQL, XSD, XSLT, Ant, CVS, Apache Log4j, JMS).

Position supervises one direct report, in the position of Quality Assurance Analyst.
