Shift Supervisor - Outbound

The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating activities of workers engaged in outbound shipping. This includes verifying and keeping records on outgoing shipments, and preparing items for shipment. They will serve as an example to subordinates and enforce all applicable safety rules.ResponsibilitiesReviews orders, to determine shipping priorities, work assignments & equipment required to meeting shipping schedulesOversees outgoing shipping activities to ensure other fulfillment accuracy, completeness, & condition of loadsResponsible for leading their shift in the efficient processing of freight in order picking, checking  & loadingInspects material handling equipment for defects & notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repairResponsible for the accuracy of all work performedResponsible for adherence & execution of standardized proceduresMaintain good housekeeping in area & adhere to established Company Safety policies at all timesOther duties as assigned
