Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Meridian, Idaho. As a key player in our telecom provider team, you will be expected to provide expertise in a variety of accounting functions such as fixed asset management, account reconciliations, and month-end closing. Responsibilities: Monitor and manage fixed assets, though prior experience in this area is not mandatory. Leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 for various accounting tasks, if familiar with the platform. Utilize strong Excel skills to manage and process large data sets and perform complex calculations. Carry out bank account reconciliations to verify the company's records are accurate. Apply critical thinking skills to solve complex problems and make informed decisions. Maintain an organized workflow to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently. Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger. Utilize Oracle for various accounting functions. Manage fixed asset accounting, though this is not a required skill. Leverage MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, if familiar with the platform. Requirements Possess a strong understanding of Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations. Proficient in using General Ledger and creating Journal Entries. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Must be able to handle Month End Close procedures effectively. Understanding of Fixed Asset Accounting is necessary. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is preferred. Holds a relevant degree and professional accounting qualifications. Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role within the finance sector. Demonstrates strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Adherence to confidentiality and high ethical standards.
