Job Description

As an Audio Visual Production Engineer I with Cerner you will be responsible for consulting with event stakeholders, including C-suite leaders and their direct reports, to create and execute plans to produce best-in-class live, virtual and hybrid events for up to 800 attendees, including managing event schedules, budgets and resources requirements including people, technology, and assets. You will guide event stakeholders through the process to identify and select the optimal combination(s) of technology (hardware and software) required to produce the event, considering factors such as the event's location, size, objectives, and other client specifications

Plan multiple events concurrently, communicating effectively with team member, clients, and outside organizations. As a Audio Visual Production Engineer I you will provide in-person or virtual audio-visual support for assigned production events, including oversight of the set-up, configuration and take-down of equipment and systems, ensuring all content, equipment and systems run as expected, and participate in post-event debriefs to identify areas of improvements, leverage technical knowledge to quickly identify and resolve technical issues with equipment and/or systems as needed to deliver a positive experience for all event stakeholders and attendees.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification
  • At least 1 years of customer service, call center, hospitality and/or technical support work experience
    • At least 4 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
    • At least 5 years of total combined work-related work experience and completed higher education

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in information systems, Computer Science, computer Engineering, Software or Engineering

Expectations
  • Willing to travel up to 60% as needed
  • May be required to lift to 60 lbs, i.e server, network equipment
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
