- Design and implement Intelligent Data Platform information architecture and data engineering.
- Support high data availability and quality to enhance the clarity of information assets.
- Ensure the Intelligent Data Platform is producing value toward supporting strategic imperatives and digital transformation.
- Communicate and collaborate with organizational leaders as well as coworkers from other departments.
- Must have 7+ years work experience in the United States.
- Bachelor’s Degree or 7+ years of experience in data movement and ETL processes.
- 7 – 10 + years of experience in data movement, transformation, and process automation.
- 5+ years’ experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries across large data sets and data models.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross departmental project teams to roll out system wide deliverables.
- Experience moving and transforming data within systems such as Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Blob Storage, Hive Metastore, or comparable on other cloud platforms.
- Experience using Python for data movement and transformation.
- Knowledge of optimal design of data and analytic environments, analyzing complex distributed production deployments, and making recommendations to optimize performance.
- Extensive experience writing and maintaining a production grade data architecture and pipelines.
- Experience maintaining data in a secure environment, while working with security compliance, PHI, PII and security best practices.
- Experience with change management, source control, and continuous deployment strategies.
- Effective communication skills to turn requirements into project plans and communicate out to partnering teams.
- Experience working an Agile methodology.
