Benefits & Payroll Analyst at Dierbergs' corporate headquarters in Chesterfield, Missouri. This important role is all about accurate data reporting and analysis, as well as benefits administration, payroll processing, tax reporting and payroll system maintenance. We will rely on you to:
  • Run, update and create PeopleSoft and Kronos queries, then prepare and analyze reports in support of payroll and benefits
  • Assist the Payroll Manager with compensation, non-union benefits, COBRA and 401(k) administration
  • Serve as back-up in running all aspects of weekly in-house payroll for more than 4,000 Associates
  • Participate in and perform required testing of system updates
  • Keep abreast of developments and updates in benefits and payroll tax laws, systems and technologies

What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' payroll and/or benefits experience
  • Advanced user in PeopleSoft and Kronos strongly preferred; if not, large systems experience required
  • Advanced Excel skills, along with strong knowledge of benefits administration, 401(k) plan administration and COBRA
  • Ability to extract, compile, organize and analyze large volumes of statistical data to be used in reporting
  • The power to "own it" as benefits and payroll subject matter expert/data analyst and technical resource for PeopleSoft
