- Work as part of a cross-functional team following Agile/Lean methodologies.
- Elicit, document, and communicate business needs, business requirements, and business rules to both internal and external stakeholders using various business analysis techniques (e.g., observation, facilitation, interviews).
- Identify risks and assist teams with problem solving, mitigating, and resolving potential issues.
- Review existing business analysis processes, templates, and tools for effectiveness and then propose improvements.
- Build and maintain a good relationship with team members to ensure collaboration during all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Actively participate in all team ceremonies including daily team stand-ups, Agile team planning, program increment planning, peer review feedback, and team retrospectives.
- Help monitor backlogs and coordinate with application managers, Scrum masters, and the team to triage, analyze, and prepare work for development teams.
- Assist teams for the entirety of the development lifecycle including the phases that typically occur after business analysis (e.g., testing, implementation).
- May work independently on small implementation projects.
