Business Analyst

A services organization in Missouri is looking to fill an immediate need on their team in St. Louis with the addition of a new Business Analyst. In this role, the Business Analyst will be responsible for serving as a liaison between the business community and the organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
• Analyze business partners' operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions
• Assist in the business process redesign and documentation for new technology
• Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications for the organization and manage changes to such specifications
• Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation
• Work with Business Partners within one business function to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Support several moderately complex business processes
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a Project Leader

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of technology system interfaces and data integration, networks, operating systems, etc.
• Knowledge of industry best practice for Business Analysis
• Experience with Modeling notation (UML, Structured, BPMN)
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)S
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organize

• Familiarity with ITIL Processes
• Experience writing Disaster recovery Plan's and Business Impact Analysis
