Job Title: C#/Azure .Net Solutions Architect

Job Location: Remote

Roles and Responsibilities: Apply software engineering skills in full-stack development on a leading .NET/C# and Azure platform. Mentor team members and share technical knowledge, best practices, and standard procedures. Provides technical governance and guidance in partnership with application development teams. Ensure that proper processes are followed on the project, be familiar with industry best practices. Lead architecture design, infrastructure foundations, solution structures, and component design. Define and help implement Industry Best Practices at the Platform level and continue to Push for Agile practices. Researches, models, and integrates business and technology architectures to align with business strategy, goals, and objectives. Reviews high-risk technology projects for compatibility with IT standards and strategic direction. Collaborate with Key Stakeholders from the business, working closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to deliver value against the roadmap. Improving software/code quality by writing good unit tests (TDD). Integration tests in Gerkin format using SpecFlow (ATDD). Introducing best practices in the coding, coding standard, and code review process. Experience with Azure Function App, Key Vault, Azure Service Bus, MsSql, Kafka, Private Endpoint, Virtual Network. REST, GraphQL, & gRPC Qualifications: Ph.D. or a Master's Degree in Computer Science Publications in Tech Journals or Conferences on Software Engineering or Computer Science topics. 10 + years of experience in multiple IT areas with the concepts, philosophies and tools behind the design of applications, information and underlying information technologies. 4 + years of experience in enterprise application architecture with designing containerized software using DevOps principles for cloud consumption. 8+ years of experience programming in both web, object-oriented or functional programming environments. Requires advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems design and integration. Database experience (must have) - Microsoft SQL Server (must have), MongoDB (nice to have), large/complex datasets, data modeling, performance, platform evolution, data delivery. Experienced in System decomposition, design (such as decoupling), and architecting solutions required to migrate applications to the cloud. Must have experience with .NET Core, REST, Microservices, React/Angular. Proven track record with CI/CD, Agile/DevOps, Test Automation. Strong experience architecting 3rd party application integrations and tools. Self-starter who can pick up new technologies/skills, be comfortable with ambiguity and drive initiatives forward. Create Proof of Concepts, apply existing technologies in new ways, prove out new approaches and technologies.
