ChemistOverview:The Chemist will be instrumental in the development of new products and analytical methods, overseeing projects from initial concept through to commercialization. This role is pivotal in supporting product innovation through various stages, including formulation, chemical properties testing, in vitro application testing, scale-up, and field trials.Key Responsibilities:

Formulate new products and enhance existing formulations.

Conduct routine physical and chemical stability tests for assigned projects.

Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.

Develop and validate new analytical test methods.

Test and analyze new raw materials.

Provide technical support for existing products.

Prepare comprehensive written reports, presentations, and posters.

Collaborate with regulatory teams to facilitate global product registration.

Work closely with manufacturing teams to support product commercialization.

Maintain meticulous documentation, including laboratory notebooks, in accordance with internal quality systems.

Update laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs) and analytical methods.

Required Skills:

Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Exceptional attention to detail and precise documentation skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on technical writing.

Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (10%).

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with 3-5 years of laboratory experience.

Proficiency in analytical chemistry and product application testing procedures.

Expertise with instruments such as HPLC, viscometer, autotitrator, balances, UV/VIS spectrophotometer, and pH meters.

Experience in method development, validation, and transfer.

Preferred experience in formulation development and testing related to antimicrobial or cleaning products.

Basic knowledge of microbiology is advantageous.

Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and the ability to work safely with chemicals.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
