Provides operational oversight of the assigned laboratory section; Genetics Department
Assists in the financial management of the assigned laboratory section
Develops, oversees and enforces quality assurance and process improvement activities for the laboratory section(s) in collaboration with appropriate technical and/or medical directors
Assists in general operations within the DPLM
Master's Degree Administration, Business and 5-7 years experience Clinical Laboratory experience needed to gain in depth knowledge of laboratory operations, 7 or more years experience in laboratory leadership may be substituted for Master's degree.
One of the following: Certified Medical Technologist - ASCP, Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist - ASCP, Certified Cytogenetics Tech, Medical Technologist in Microbiology required upon hire
MLS - ASCP NAT Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist - ASCP ASCP Technologist Certifications or ASCP Specialist Certifications requiring a bachelor's degree and clinical experience with NAACLS accredited program.

Starting PayOur pay ranges are market competitive.
