Travel CNC machinist needed in Newport news, VA paying $45.00 and $120 in per diemDescription: Aerotek is looking for CNC machinists with at least 8 years of experience to work at shops in Newport News, VA on a military and defense contract. This positions requires machinists to know how to set up mills and lathes, edit programs and operate CNC mills/lathes. It starts at $45.00/hr with $120 in per diem .Recommended Skills:Familiar with Numerical Controlled Processes, Manual Data Input, Tooling Offsets, Conversation Controllers, etc.Operate Manual and/or NC machines such as: lathes, mills, horizontal & vertical machining centers, EDMs, etc.Experience with controllers such as: Fanuc, Siemens, Acramatic, Cincinnati-Milacron, etc.Familiar with the use of precision measuring instruments: outside/inside micrometers, depth mics, verniers, etc.Familiar with threading and the various measuring/gauging requirementsDrilling/tapping processesFamiliar with carbide machining processesAbility to comprehend complex mechanical drawings and blueprints45.00About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
