Greetings of the day ! Here is our open requirement which can be filled immediately. Kindly respond to this requirement with your resume Initial project is St Louis, MO (approx. 6 months) travel will rotate back every 4 weeks (approx.). Then, after a week back home they return for another 4 week rotation. I would be open to shorter rotation periods
- This role is similar to PM, BUT this person should be more hands on, ideally came up through the trades.
- Requires 5+ yrs experience as a Commercial Construction Project Superintendent or Manager
- Person should also be located in Pittsburgh PA area BUT willing to travel.
- Travel will be a large part of the long term success of this role with advancement to PM opportunity.
- Five (5) years or more as a Commercial Construction Project Superintendent or Manager
- Able to manage safety, quality and productivity of work at the job site and offsite locations
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget as detailed in the contract
- Able to plan, schedule, coordinate, and supervise daily activity of onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Previous experience supervising Direct Hire Union Labor
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to plans and specifications
- Ability to interpret drawings/blueprints including architectural, mechanical, structural, electrical, and civil
- Understanding the fundamentals and construction means and methods for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and structural work
- Possess solid math skills, good mechanical problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with customers and subcontractors
- Management of construction equipment, small tools, and capital equipment
- Highly skilled in organization, planning, schedule adherence, and people skills
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Promote positive teamwork and morale while enforcing job site and company policies
- Be self-motivated, resourceful, flexible to change, and quick to adapt
- Able to perform physically demanding work: standing, bending, and lifting 50 lbs. regularly
- Travel to project job site locations throughout the US and abroad
- Have a positive attitude, be reliable, and work well with other team members

- Serve as the on-site company representative and liaison between architects, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and clients
- Execute company Project Safety Program and Policy, monitor overall job site safety and enforce OSHA regulations, and ensure they are being followed on site
- Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that all subcontractors and crew members are in compliance with company PPE standards and policies
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure all appropriate subcontractors/suppliers, or other primes are showing up onsite and performing the required work, notify subcontractors if they are not maintaining schedule or falling behind
- Communicate with Customer's representative and Project Manager with regard to project schedules, milestone progress, scope of work, and other project related items
- Review construction contracts to assure scope, terms and conditions are applicable, and align with the contractual Statement of Work
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule subcontractors and field personnel on daily construction activities
- Responsible for jobsite operations including onsite activities, subcontractors, suppliers, and others as may be assigned within area of responsibility
- Establishes Union craft resource requirements for all work performed, complete all Labor request forms, all project forms, and other requests related to discipline that may be required
- Accurately process job site records, inventory items, time sheets, QC documentation, and test reports
- Interpret project drawings and documents for subcontractors and field personnel
- Communicate effectively with fellow operators, supervisors, engineers, and management personnel
- Coordinate pricing and design efforts when required with internal engineering personnel along with external architectural and engineering firms
- Coordinate mobilization and delivery schedules with vendors, subcontractors, Project Manager, and Purchasing
- Maintain company owned tools and rented/leased tooling
- Manage equipment and material receiving activities including supervision of unloading trucks, receiving report documentation, coordination and documentation of job site storage locations
- Monitor, control, and coordinate field costs with regards to hours worked, field purchasing, rental equipment use and subcontractor activities
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Technical, BA or BS Degree (Desired)
- 5+ years of experience working onsite at construction projects
- 5+ years of experience interfacing/supervising subcontractors
- 5+ years of experience with MS Project and MS Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
