AS A LEVEL 1 AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN PERSON, YOU WILL:
Set up, inspect, and adjust production equipment.
Perform work with material transfer conveyors, PLC, and robotic systems.
Understands, identifies, locates malfunctions, removes, replaces, adjusts, and returns to industrial components to service.
Conduct initial troubleshooting of production issues and repair, if capable, and assist in troubleshooting of production problems.
Works capably with technical documentation and computers.
Understand and utilize mechanical and electrical schematics for basic troubleshooting.
Develop automation, control, and robotics skills and apply them to problem-solving in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:
Must possess a High School diploma or High School equivalency.
Must be enrolled in or completed an automation technology program or possess equivalent manufacturing experience.
An enthusiasm and aptitude for working with technology.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Associates degree
