Position Summary: Working with all appropriate members of the health care team coordinates care for patients assigned to the Internal Medicine Services with a priority for the Faculty Service through the development and use of patient care and practice standards. Works to achieve desired patient outcomes and ensures that variances from established parameters are evaluated and addressed as necessary. Performs a wide variety of high-level patient care activities which may include completion of patient assessment, history and physical examination, development and implementation of plan to address physical and psychosocial needs, and evaluation of patient progress. The Advance Practice Nurse is accountable for the clinical outcomes of assigned patients.Job Specifications Minimum Education: Master's Degree in Nursing. Minimum Experience: Three years clinical experience in acute care. Required Licensure/Certification: Current Missouri Registered Nurse Licensure. Current Missouri Advance Practice Licensure.
