Honeywell FM&T’s culture of integrity, commitment and continuous improvement enables them to deliver responsive, collaborative, and innovative management and technology services and products that translate into cutting edge solutions to complex national security issues.This position will be in Kansas City, MOSummary:The Analyst II Security position plans, develops, and administers cyber security procedures and training programs for classified or proprietary materials, products, services, electronic documents and information systems. The position assures that cyber security training and internal practices, procedures, and policies comply with Department of Energy (DOE) orders and any other applicable policies pertaining to cyber security. Additional activates include conducting audits, surveys, and special studies, preparation of cyber security plans and procedures. Familiarization with all cyber security requirements and policies and interacting with NNSA, DOE HQTS, and other leadership. The work location for this position can be KS or NM.You Must Have:- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a cyber security environment
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, a related discipline, or two additional years of direct work experience in lieu of bachelor's degree
- US Citizenship, capable of obtaining & maintaining appropriate government security clearance.
- Candidates with greater experience will be considered for higher level analyst classifications (Senior Analyst) commensurate with candidate experience credentials and the job complexity warranted by current business requirements
- Advanced degree preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated experience using Tenable Nessus
- Demonstrated experience conducting web application scans
- Demonstrated experience with operating a vulnerability management program including reporting to system administrators and stakeholders
- Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to utilize interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management and employees
- Demonstrated project management and leadership skills
- Knowledge of NIST special publications (FIPS 199, 200, 800-53, 800-37) and the certification and accreditation process
