Database Developer

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Database Developer in the Transport industry, based in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. The individual will play a crucial role in driving business decisions through the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business intelligence tools. They will also be responsible for streamlining data integration and workflow processes, enhancing system interoperability, and implementing automation solutions to improve efficiency across various business functions.Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to drive business insights and decision-making. Leverage Informatica's Intelligent Data Management Cloud to streamline data integration and workflow processes. Enhance system interoperability and data exchange through the consumption and integration of Rest APIs. Design and implement process automation solutions to improve efficiency and productivity across various business functions. Provide scalable and reusable IT solutions that empower teams and enhance overall organizational performance. Consume and integrate Rest APIs to optimize data exchange and system interoperability. Leverage cloud technologies and database objects to enhance system performance and data management. Use SQL and other database technologies to manage and manipulate data. Create dashboards in Power BI to visualize data and drive business decisions. Utilize skills in A/B testing, business requirement documentation, and data warehousing to support business operations. Requirements Proficiency in SQL and database management systems. Experience with Cloud Technologies. Understanding and experience of Database Object. Familiarity with EO/IR systems. Expertise in Informatica. Knowledge of AB Testing methodologies. Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and techniques. Experience in preparing Business Requirement Documents. Ability to create dashboards and reports. Experience in Data Warehousing. Proficiency in Power BI. Must have relevant industry experience in transport. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Must have problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset. A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have a proactive approach towards work and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
