Find your future with us.Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Management Specialist (Level M) to lead a cross functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) on a Cruise Missile Systems development program within the Precision Engagement Systems Portfolio located in St. Charles, MO .The selected candidate will be responsible for all execution activities associated with the specific IPT in support of this critically important program. The IPT Leadership position requires exceptional program management skills in order to successfully interact with multiple functions and suppliers to drive execution. Demonstrated development program IPT leadership execution experience is highly valued in the selection process for this position.Entry into this classification is limited to candidates approved by the enterprise-wide Program Management Process Council or its designee. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of IPT execution including delivery on technical, cost and schedule commitments
Accountability includes customer satisfaction, mission success, program execution, and performance against program objectives
Develop strong relationships with engineering, supply chain, production, finance, as well as other internal functions, suppliers and customers
Coordinate program staffing needs with Engineering Capabilities and other functions
Manage program baselines and status, driving first time quality, safety, engineering health, and performance
Provide oversight and approval of programmatic and technical approaches, products and processes
Manage, develop and motivate employees to combine the team’s energy and expertise to achieve a common objective and attain higher levels of performance
Establish a culture of proactive oversight, risk management and rapid issue resolution, providing alternative paths for issue resolution and opening dialogue on programmatic and technical issues
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
Experience with people management and Integrated Program Team (IPT) leadership
5+ years of experience working on engineering development programs
10+ years of experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers
Strong communication skills, and experience in interacting with executive leadership
