Qualifications and Skills:
2 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic.
Valid driver’s license is required, CDL-A is a plus.
Ability to work early morning and evening.
Diesel Mechanic’s Responsibilities:
Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.
Knowledge of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems.
Knowledge of engine diagnostic software.
Conduct regular maintenance and service trucks.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Diagnose problems and plan repairs.
Perform road-side service calls.
Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks.
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
Must have own basic hand tools.
Specialty and larger tools will be provided.
