Title: Electrical EngineerLocation: Saint Louis, MODuration: 18 Months Job Description:- The Electrical Engineer will support all aspects of power distribution system studies and analysis, and scoping, development, engineering, construction, and implementation for factory power distribution infrastructure, including power distribution down to the consumers. The Engineer's primary role will be to support all aspects of power systems studies, including SKM modeling for each factory. The Engineer will assist factories with breaker coordination, arc flash mitigation, and the documentation of such information.
- Updating and creating power distribution system models, utilizing SKM Power Tools, per factory capital projects and requests. Deliverables from SKM include one-line diagram updates, TCCC plots, Breaker Settings, Arc Flash Calculations, and Arc Flash Labels.
- Supporting the development and execution of engineering and design work packages related to Power Distribution infrastructure and Utilities/Building Systems.
- Execute engineering and design of site power distribution infrastructure. Includes development of work package Scopes of Work, and development of single-line diagrams, power distribution equipment layout drawings, duct bank detail and routing, cable tray/conduit and cable routing, grounding and bonding plans, and lightning protection system plans.
- Specification of Switchgear, Transformers, Power Distribution Panels, Cable Tray, Cable, and other power distribution equipment and infrastructure.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years working on Power Systems Studies and the specification, engineering and design of industrial power distribution systems (medium and low voltage).
- Proficiency in the use of SKM Power Tools
- Proficiency in power system analysis, short circuit coordination studies, and arc flash hazard analysis.
- Ability to develop load calculations for sizing and specification of power distribution systems.
- Working knowledge of Medium Voltage and Low Voltage power distribution equipment, and Utilities/Mechanical systems controls
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electric Code), and electrical equipment installation and wiring practices
- Strong Communication/Writing Capabilities
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to use AutoCAD to view drawing files, use Microsoft Office products, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
