Find your future with us.Boeing’s Government Training Engineering (GTE) team is looking for an Entry Level or Associate Systems Engineer for our Hazelwood , MO location to support the Ownship Air Dominance Training Systems Engineering Team. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing Ownship system level requirements and verification test procedures, support software development and integration, and running verification tests.Position Responsibilities:
Evaluate customer and stakeholder needs to define Ownship system level requirements in Systems Engineering database tools (i.e. DOORS, OSEE, Cameo).
Ensure interface requirements are clearly defined and communicated to stakeholders.
Plan and complete integration activities to meet program needs.
Define and perform appropriate verification tests to ensure that the system meets the defined requirements.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Systems engineering experience or equivalent
Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery
Ability to travel 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1+ years experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies
1+ years experience with Department of Defense (DoD) organizations, projects and/or programs
1+ years experience working with aircraft systems and subsystems
Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
