- Overall IT experience in the 5-to-10-year range
- At least 6 years’ experience in ETL development including designing data warehouses
- (ETL experience needs to include development without typical ETL tools like Informatica or Abinithio)
- At least 6 years’ experience in using SQL to understand data within DBMSs such as Teradata, Oracle, and SQLServer
- At least 6 years’ experience in Data Analysis, Profiling, Quality Validation, and Mapping
- Very proficient in gathering and documenting data requirements, creating Source to Target mappings, and documenting data anomalies
- Must have experience in Data Warehousing environment
- Experience in optimizing and tuning SQL scripts for Teradata
- Proficiency with Unix/Linux shell scripts
- Demonstrated skills with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Excellent communication, organization, and facilitation skills
