Job Description:

Innovate and transform SS&C's Intelligent Automation applications into industry leading, cost effective solutions, by collaborating across a global organization of over 200+ staff and multiple applications. The candidate will demonstrate experience in:

Architectural success within large multi-tenant product suites within the Financial Services and Healthcare industries.
Evaluating opportunities to consolidate applications, producing more robust solutions, within a smaller application footprint.
Defining and executing a vision around product innovation and transformation, with focus on:
Modernization
Security
Performance
User experience
Data capabilities
Keeping pace with a rapidly evolving technology industry
Leadership through influence, rather than direct authority
Positive, can-do attitude, focused on developing solutions and overcoming challenges
Strong collaboration with peer leadership
Assisting with the development of a highly engaged technical staff, resulting in strong staff contribution and satisfaction

Scope extends to platforms and environments across SS&C's Chorus business unit.

Position Requirements:

Past software delivery leadership that exhibits:

Varied technology experiences within large/enterprise, multi-product, multi-tenant environments
Leadership and vision that transform legacy applications to more modern application architectures
Leading technological advances that improve performance, user experience and reporting capabilities, while at the same time improving overall end-user quality
Ability to work closely with experienced senior technology leaders, across multiple organizations, both internally and externally
Proactively manage risks and effectively resolve delivery obstacles
Effective communication skills
Problem solving, risk management and negotiation skills
Quality, client minded focus
Partnering with others to maintain a clear technology roadmap
Proactively search out roadblocks and problems

Required skills:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or other relevant engineering field, 7+ years leading architecture, software development / delivery teams and organizations
Inspires, mentors and encourages. Regularly assess organization for required skills, responsibilities and performance against defined goals.
Strong technical competencies in modern frameworks and approaches (e.g. SOA, web, security)
Ability to evaluate ROI and manage scope
Success working in diverse work environment
Ability to modernize or transform products while maintaining high quality and meeting client expectations
