Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Quality Engineer to join our team in Berkeley , MO .Position Responsibilities:

Develop and implement advanced quality control processes specific to composite materials to ensure the highest standards are met in the production of aerospace components.

Conduct comprehensive inspections and audits of composite materials at various stages of the manufacturing process.

Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) activities for composite components to verify manufacturing processes' capability in meeting specified requirements.

Lead & train Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies tailored for composites to monitor and control manufacturing processes effectively.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to establish and maintain quality standards for composite materials, processes, and finished products.

Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality issues related to composite components and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Utilize statistical analysis and quality tools specific to composites to monitor and improve production processes.

Provide mentorship and training to junior quality engineers and production staff with a focus on composite materials.

Stay current with industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to aerospace composite material quality assurance.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field

3+ years of First Article Inspection (FAI) experience

Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) applications

3+ years of Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESCI) experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with composites

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
