Fiber Maintenance Technician OSP (full time)

Kansas City Market

We are looking to add Technicians (splicers) to our daily maintenance crew. Individual must be a reliable worker and have the ability to communicate at a high level. Prior Telecom or other Trade experience is preferred but not required.

Job Overview:

-1099 Subcontractor

-$1200-$1600+ a week

-Opportunities to Travel

-Troubleshooting Out of Service Customers

-Splicing

-Installation (OSP)

-Aerial and Underground Plants

Equipment needed:

-Truck or Van with 28’ Fiberglass Extension Ladder

-Basic PPE (climbing belt and hard hat)

-Basic hand tools

-Splicer

-Fiber Cleaver

-Vex Meter

-Fiber Identifier

-OTDR

-Chromebook
