Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First Line Manufacturing Manager (level K ) on 2nd shift to support the Fabrication team based out of Helena, Montana.As a member of the Leadership team, you will continuously lead and develop Manufacturing Teams. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate a One BPS culture, driving a deep understanding of the One BPS principles, standards, production health and problem-solving model.Quality and Safety initiatives will require the candidate to be fully engaged in a FOD free and clean as you go approach and an IIF commitment to Safety. Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Helena, Montana.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or a manufacturing environment
1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role.
1+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives.
Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience in CNC machining
1+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading team
1+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership
1+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS)
