Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves overseeing all aspects of financial record keeping within our organization, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and conducting bookkeeping functions. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all general ledger activity Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable Perform account reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy Conduct all necessary bookkeeping functions Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise to maintain financial records and prepare reports Monitor customer accounts for late payments, and take appropriate actions Keep accurate records of customer credit applications Resolve customer inquiries regarding their accounts. Requirements Must have in-depth knowledge of bookkeeping functions Proficiency in using QuickBooks Enterprise is essential Demonstrated experience in Account Reconciliation Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required Candidates should be equipped with strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial High attention to detail and accuracy in executing tasks Candidates must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
