We are seeking talented cybersecurity professionals to join our Information Security Architecture team.

In this role you'll have ownership over how to reduce security risks by identifying security challenges, developing innovative technical solutions, and implementing them with the broader team. As an information security architect you will inform on emerging and existing threats, define best practices to meet their challenges, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets. You'll partner with business areas, vendors, and other information system professionals to identify, design, implement and support innovative security across the organization.

Candidates with interests in code analysis, security-as-code strategies, and secure implementations for on-premise and cloud environments makes this position ideal for you.

Key Activities :
  • Good working knowledge of the SDLC and techniques used to address secure coding practices such as DAST, SAST, Threat Modeling, BSIMM and OWASP
  • Lead the Architecture, technical design, implementation, and operation of Data Security program
  • Lead deployment activities related to Data Security and architecture which may include elements of workflow configuration, custom rule development and solution integration.
  • Lead the technical direction on all areas of data security including policies, standards, strategies, automation and governance
  • Provide guidance to technical teams on architectural, procedural, and security best practices for on-prem and cloud-based solution
  • Lead automation efforts to minimize manual work, ensure compliance goals, and support continuous delivery frameworks and tools
  • Consult with internal (technical experts, information technology / security leadership) and external departments partnering on changing business, policy and technical plans to ensure that data and information security issues are addressed early
  • Researches current security threats, techniques, and landscapes
  • Evaluates secure design strategies to identify and recommend improvements to potential security design problems
  • Analyzes and revise existing system logic and documentation as necessary
  • Identify gaps/opportunities for enhancements to workflows and processes for enhancing the detection and response lifecycle
  • Acts as a technical or security advisor in the risk management processes
  • Takes ownership and manages information security projects that vary in size and scope depending on requirements
  • Consults and provides information security expertise to support various projects
  • Evaluates and implements security products and/or processes to enhance productivity and effectiveness for various platforms and initiatives
  • Monitors information security policy compliance using security tooling
  • Supports leadership decision making through timely analysis and presenting options
  • Mentors junior members of the team
  • Competence in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and other platforms
  • Working knowledge in architecture and design of solutions using cloud-based technologies
  • Working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formations, AWS Config, AWS Inspector, Guard Duty and others
  • Strong knowledge of software development languages, tools and techniques such as Python, JSON, YAML, and Java
  • Expertise with tool integration for the DevOps pipeline such as Git
  • Working knowledge of threat modeling tools and techniques
  • Technical expertise in security tools and knowledge of security practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of Linux and the Windows operating system family
  • Demonstrated independent decision-making abilities and self-directed work habits
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to tailor communications to their audience and present information in a credible, confident, and influential manner
  • Communicates in a concise, direct, and purposeful way
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Familiarity with DAMA/DMBOK, DCAM, DMMI, or other data management framework.Experience with implementing or working with industry recognized Data Protection Strategies and data related technologies.

Qualifications :
  • Typically requires 6-15 years of relevant IT experience
  • Bachelor's degree specializing in an information technology field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or work experience. Master's degree specializing in an information technology field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or work experience preferred.
  • Industry recognized security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP, AWS Security or other is required.
  • Incumbent must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless the Bank grants an accommodation based on a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.
  • This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. These additional screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take up to a couple of months to be completed. You can begin work before the screening is completed; however, continued employment is contingent on acceptable screening results. The areas screened may include education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reference checks.
