SummaryThe ISC Lead Manager acts as a resource manager of a business unit, within the Integrated Supply Chain organization. Responsible for matrixed employees in order to create work flow efficiency and accountability. Responsible to execute ISC area ownership of a business unit and act as an authority in overall manufacturing, quality and production control. Works under minimal direction with considerable latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions.Duties and Responsibilities

Supports the Logistics business unit within the ISC Materials division including support for: Receiving, Packaging/Shipping, Stores, Transportation, Waste Management, Excess & Reclamation and Property Management.

Management of Logistics infrastructure projects(Contract management of leased vehicles and shuttle services, oversight of the Summit Application, managing Logistics project and headcount budgets).

Directly supervises employee(s) and performs other managerial responsibilities in a matrixed relationship including planning, assigning, and directing work of employees; interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; addressing feedback and resolving problems.

Represents divisional management, as directed, in meetings or appropriate functions.

Conducts and coordinates a broad range of ISC area ownership assignments requiring extensive knowledge of operations (Manufacturing/Product Acceptance) HSE, program management, material planning systems, facilities and lean principles and their application to specific ISC manufacturing areas.

Estimates manpower requirements and schedules work to meet completion dates and technical requirements.

Works with ISC leaders to develop productivity improvement strategies and workforce planning required to meet future workload demands.

Facilitates effective cross business supply chain communications and/or project teams (Defense programs, Global Security, reimbursable).

May act as a direct customer interface on assigned projects.

Demonstrates in depth knowledge of corporate and plant metrics; analyzes, interprets and applies this knowledge to solve variety of manufacturing related business issues.

Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements within the division to assure cost-effective operations.

Leverages contemporary supply chain, Honeywell Operating System, Lean, and continuous improvement processes to consistently realize the delivery of sustainable high performance outcomes.

Facilitates traditional and non-traditional production and inspection activities; may include electronic/mechanical assembly, machining, tool fabrication, model building, production of engineering prototypes and fixtures and material disposition, or electronic/mechanical inspections, electrical testing, Material Review Board, and improvements to systems that support pedigree of accepted materials and data storage.

May lead resolution of major operations issues (customer requirements, material shortages, facilities issues, technical problems) within set operation parameters, engaging ISC senior leaders as needed to escalate or revisit based on changing business requirements.

You Must Have

Bachelors degree in a related field that may include engineering, business, supply chain management and 7+ years experience in multiple areas of Supply Chain organization (program management, materials mgmt, quality, engineering) or related field.

May require previous experience in Honeywell Operating System, Lean or related function.
