RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking an IT Portfolio Analyst.

IT Portfolio Management: Facilitates formal project intake processes and meetings Assist in the support of IT leadership to submit IT roadmap projects into Planview Assists and supports Project and Program leaders in achieving PPM data accuracy Performs periodic audits on effective utilization of PPM

IT Program and Portfolio Analysis: Conducts analyses of moderately complex portfolio data sets related to program/portfolio management and resource allocation Supports Program and Portfolio Leadership on the development and publishing of program and portfolio level reports and dashboards including, but not limited to, portfolio mix, effort mix and budget mix; analyzes moderately complex portfolio data to determine portfolio trends to support decision making Assists and supports Project Leaders and Project Managers on the development and publishing of project reports and dashboards including health, budget, and schedule Works with Project and Program leadership to ensure project and program budgets are managed in Planview PPM and assists in the development and publishing of project and program budget reports

Resource Management, Forecasting and Analysis: Works with PMO Leaders, Program Managers, Project Managers and IT Leadership on team capacity planning, forecasting and accurate effort reporting Supports Program Managers on cross-program resource forecasting and dependencies Supports IT leadership in the development of fiscal year resource and budget forecasts based on Planview Roadmap data 4. PPMO Policies, Processes and Tools Participates in the design and ongoing optimization of PPM tools and functionality for moderately complex projects Works with PPM and other software vendors to optimize PPM tools and functionality

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; Relevant experience includes project-related work; demonstrated technical and/or business expertise; experience supporting IT teams with effective utilization of PM/PPM tools and processes Able to support teammates at all times and in any way necessary to maintain a productive, energetic, efficient and dynamic WashU IT team Able to communicate effectively and frequently both verbally and in writing with other members of the team Able to collaborate with other teammates to provide assistance, and expertise, as well as to receive expert input and assistance from others delivering the best solution and experience for the customer Possess an aptitude for patience, professionalism, tactfulness and empathy Enthusiastic and committed to helping others and exhibit the ability to quickly assess the specific needs of the customer to determine an appropriate course of action Able to quickly defuse stressful or anxious situations Demonstrated skills in analysis of project, program and portfolio data and reporting Proven ability to creatively solve problems and to influence outcomes through persuasion, effective communications and relationship building Ability to organize and work effectively in a matrix organization with cross-functional project teams from various departments and locations Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new circumstances Ability to work extra hours and adjust schedule and recognize the need to do so Ability to adjust to changes in priorities and demands on time Ingenuity and flexibility is expected

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
