Moving from assignment to assignment, they support various units within the hospital. They have high-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and are able to stay calm under pressure.About this unit:Excellent communication and teamwork between all members of the hospital

Responsibilities:The role of the Licensed Practical Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Charge Nurse, RN’s as well as the Director/Manger of the department. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Research Medical Center. The Licensed Practical Nurse in 633 Medical Telemetry provides care for ages 12-17 Yrs Adolescent, 18-39 Yrs Young Adult, 40-64 Yrs Adult and 65 Geriatric patients.

Current licensure by the Missouri State Board of Nursing or current and valid license from a compact state

American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Saving (BLS) – Active within 90 days of hire.

De-Escalation training completed within 90 days of hire.
