job detailsLooking to use your leadership and shipping skills in a new environment? We are looking for a Logistics/Warehouse Supervisor to build and drive a high-performance team to effectively deliver results. You will be responsible for all areas related to distribution; ensuring that finished goods arrive at our customer site locations as efficiently as possible while also being on time and in excellent condition.salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Schedule outgoing and incoming shipments with appropriate carrier Coordinate and participate in shipment preparations of customerorders and supplier returns ensuring that specific requirements aremet Tracks the movement of shipments Manages physical location of raw materials and supplies within thewarehouse, production area and off-site warehouse Ensure all packaging materials and tools needed for the warehouseoperation are available Oversee carrier relationships ensuring reliability and cost optimization(including freight claims) Monitor SAP for transactional accuracy, completeness and timeliness Obtain freight quotes Manages Export Control product classification questions and customsdelaysThe essential functions of this role include:
