Description:The Maintenance Technician (Technical Specialist) will be responsible for set ups and maintenance of the production line for manufacturing of home and garden products. Daily Job Duties Include:
Performs set ups and changeovers of production line and production machinery and equipment
Perform adjustments, PMs and repairs on equipment to maximize run time on the line
Perform mechanical troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairs on all breakdowns
Will also be responsible for checking quality of product throughout shiftSkills:machine maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, Maintenance technician, line maintenance, machine set up, electrical troubleshootingTop Skills Details:machine maintenance,mechanical troubleshooting,Maintenance technician,line maintenanceAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Qualified candidates MUST have the following:Minimum 2 years of experience in high-speed manufacturing environment performing general maintenance and setting up and running machinery and/or packaging lines
Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing packaging equipment
Minimum 2 years experience performing set ups and adjustments on machinery or equipment; running and operating machinery and equipment
Minimum 2 years experience replacing motors and gearboxes
Experience and ability to perform quality checks on machinery and product
Best candidates will have experience in high volume production lines.
Food and Bev experience translates well; preferred although not required
Basic electrical knowledge and experience is preferred. Example: must be able to unwire/rewire a motor to repair/replace.
