Our property is a well-established and thriving apartment community in Independence, Missouri. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and help us maintain our beautiful property and provide exceptional service to our residents. Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of maintenance duties, including but not limited to:

o Plumbing repairs (leaky faucets, toilets, water heaters)

o Electrical repairs (outlets, switches, light fixtures)

o HVAC maintenance and repair (filters, minor repairs, troubleshooting)

o Appliance troubleshooting (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers/dryers, garbage disposals)

o Minor Painting and drywall repair

o Carpentry and general repairs

o Grounds maintenance (landscaping, snow removal, trash removal)

Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and complete work orders efficiently and effectively.

Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.

Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Provide excellent customer service to residents and colleagues.

Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance issues.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in a related field is a plus.

HVAC certification is a big plus

Minimum of 3 years of experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.

Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.

Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance problems effectively.

Good mechanical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay: Starting at $22/hour commensurate with experience.
