Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy, drive the development, and execute the deployment of data and analytics platform and products by collaborating with leaders at every level of the company to ensure digital products are released on-time, on budget, and with high quality.
  • Institute a programmatic approach for enterprise information management to identify, prioritize, and execute the data and analytic initiatives with clear line of sight to business strategies and outcomes.
  • Innovate with, and expand, the organization's research and analytics offerings including emerging analytical approaches, skills, technologies, and business-consumable data sciences.
  • Ensure ongoing data accuracy and efficiency through proper data model designs, data extraction/load implementations, and accurate and timely data utilization techniques.
  • Serve as the company’s Lead Data Architect by serving on the Enterprise Architect Committee and helping to design and develop all corporate IT data structures.
  • Create corporate data structures in a manner that supports operations efficiently while providing security to protect policyholders, agents, associates, and other stakeholders.
  • Take an active role in the development of employees to improve their skills and competencies.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, and/or Corporate Data Reporting through integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and information strategies, as well as designing strategic metrics and scorecards.
  • Proven data literacy; ability to describe business use cases/outcomes, data sources, management concepts, and analytical approaches/options.
  • Expert level technical skills with a diverse database technologies stack, as well as related data and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and information strategy experience in strategic technology planning and execution; ability to communicate project portfolio objectives, inspire and motivate staff, and maintain alignment to the business strategy.
