Join our team and start your journey today!The Manager Regulatory Compliance is responsible for the global certification of compressor and compressor electronics products produced mainly in North America to the appropriate regulatory standards. The Manager leads a team of engineers who work with our product development teams to ensure appropriate and complete paperwork for submittals and help coordinate questions and answers from the regulatory approval agencies. The Manager is also responsible for staying abreast of the applicable product safety standards.As a Manager, Regulatory Compliance, you will:

Coordinate with global teams to ensure global compliance and certifications of the various compressor and compressor electronics products sold by Copeland

Work with Underwriters Laboratories and other agencies to ensure timely certifications to the appropriate safety standards

Manage the regulatory compliance team located in Sidney, Ohio and Pune, India

Monitor global safety standards to ensure Copeland is prepared for upcoming changes

Support PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) certifications for the global compressor manufacturing plants

Provide customer support on our standards, products and other components sold by Copeland

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields.

Minimum of 10 years of industry experience with knowledge of the application of product safety certifications

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and develop practical solutions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex regulatory information to diverse audiences

Proven project management abilities, with a track record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:

Experience with refrigerant compressor and system standards (UL 60335-2-34, et al)

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
