Medical Billing Specialist

Our organization is seeking an experienced Medical biller to work in our fast paced administrative office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing with skills necessary to improve our current billing procedures and reduce A/R days. The applicant will work on a number of tasks involving data analysis and in depth account evaluations

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

create/evaluate/submit data to insurance providers

work on claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement

Review of accounts A/R

Medicare/Medicaid billing

SKILLS:

1-2 preferred experience medical biller

ability to multi task and meet tight deadlines

excellent problem solving skills

ability to work independently

excel experience is a must

ability to work on multiple software systems

multitasking
