Mid Level Java Backend Developer

• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures and core computer science concepts.
• Understands the basic engineering principles used in building and running mission critical software capabilities (security, customer experience, testing, operability, simplification, service-oriented architecture).
• Evidence of working with object-oriented development and design patterns.
• Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot framework, RDBMS - Oracle, Web Service Development.
• Has skills to author test code with lots of smaller tests followed by few contract tests at service level and fewer journey tests at the integration level (Test Pyramid concept).
• Strong written and verbal English communications skills.
• Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with XP, TDD and BDD in the software development processes.
• Proficiency with cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, serverless technology, NoSQL databases), micro-service design, CI/CD, DevOps.
• Expert in modern software design principles such as SOLID, DRY, and Single responsibility.
