Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Base Management Specialist (Mid-Level or Experienced ) to join our dynamic team in Saint Charles, Missouri .Position Responsibilities:

Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations.

Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies.

Analyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunities.

Develops mitigation plans.

Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities.

Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position is for 1st shift.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management

More than 3 years of experience in interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher.

More than 1 year of experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality

3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry.

3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

3+ years of experience leading projects

3+ years of experience functioning in a cross-functional environment

3+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes

3+ years of experience managing supplier performance

3+ years of experience with improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, systematic problem solving)

3+ years of experience with strategy development and execution

3+ years of experience in project leadership/management, supporting, leading, and delegation the project team's responsibilities and tasks through all stages of the project life cycle

Level 4 : 5 or more years of related work experience or a combination of education and experience

Typical Education/Experience:Level 3:Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Level 4:Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
